It's a guitar driven slice of Country rock with an unusual chord progression, resulting in loads of edgy energy. The ballads are flooding in as the record companies cock an eye toward the festive season, so we need some bounce in the music flow; Chris fills the bill admirably!

Little Big Town, "Fine Line" – LBT sound strangely like Fleetwood Mac on their new single, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's definitely a bit of a departure for them, showcasing their harmonies slightly less prominently than usual, but still sounding very cool.
Matt Stillwell, "Shine" – The "shine" In question isn't from the sun, but is of the moon variety…as in "moonshine". This is a rousing party song to help bring the summer to an end. Matt comes from North Carolina and has developed quite a live following. On the basis of this single, we can see why!
Bailey Grey, "Beach Weekend" – Another party anthem for the waning weeks of summer. This is definitely Country, with fiddles and more, but it also captures the sound and feel of classic rock and roll, with echoing hand claps and other retro touches. If this doesn't put a smile on your face, you might as well put on your winter overcoat right now and be done with it!
