Guess who's stolen the title to the upcoming Kenny Chesney album?
There's no doubt it's just an unfortunate coincidence, but there's going to be a "Lucky Old Sun" album coming out September 2nd, and it's NOT the Kenny Chesney project.
None other than former Beach Boy Brian Wilson has the new album with that name, which hits the shops a full six weeks before Kenny Chesney's "Lucky Old Sun" project. Sixty-six year old Brian describes his new CD as a celebration of Southern California life, while Kenny's heart lies not in Los Angeles but with the sunshine to be found shining down on his Caribbean hideaway.
VoC thinks there's an obvious answer to this embarassing coincidence: Kenny and Brian should record a song together and put the result on both of their "Lucky Old Sun" albums. Another special edition on its way then, fellas?
