A tired and confused Jimmy Wayne wound up dressed only in boxer shorts and handcuffs in an incident at a California airpot.
The singer reportedly kept setting off the metal detector at airport security and was told by airport staff to "remove whatever was setting off the alarm" from the pockets of the short trousers and t-shirt he was wearing.
Jimmy says he misunderstood the request and removed his trousers, placing them on the security conveyor belt. This left the singer dressed in the t-shirt and his underwear.
Security officers were unhappy with this and called for police, who handcuffed Jimmy and interrogated him in his boxer shorts for 25 minutes.
Eventually Jimmy was able to convince the authorities that it was a genuine misunderstanding and he wasn't being a wise guy, and he was subsequently allowed to board his flight.
