Just as he was about to launch his new record label and album, John Michael Montgomery has suddenly checked himself into rehab. The affable singer released a statement saying he is “getting help for substance abuse resulting from severe anxiety attacks and sleep disorder”. All performances and appearances by John Michael for the next thirty days have been canceled.
The singer had the following message for his fans:
“I will be disappearing for awhile to try to try to defeat the demons that have stripped me of my energy of life and good health for so many years now. I assure you that, however long it may take, I’m going to fight to the end and come out stronger.”
