Jessica Simpson Booed at Country Performance
Although Jessica Simpson is enjoying success on the Country singles chart with her debut, "Come on Over", it's still not all smooth sailing for the pop star's cross-over into Country music. Jessica opened for Sara Evans at the Country Thunder USA Festival in Randall, Wisconsin on July 19th and drew her fair share of boos from the crowd. The singer was unfazed by the response of some in the audience, telling the crowd,
"I'm just a girl from Texas; I'm just like you".
Jessica included a number of cover versions in her set, including Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again."
