Kid Rock Back in the Country Chart & Back in Court

Kid Rock is back in the Country charts and back in court...but the two events aren't related.

His new single, "All Summer Long", marks the Kid's first Country hit since "Single Father" three years ago.

Meanwhile, his court appearance in De Kalb County, Georgia, stems from a stop at a Waffle House restaurant made by the singer's tour bus after an Atlanta show last October 12th. A verbal altercation with another patron turned physical and developed into an all-out brawl in the car park.

Kid Rock has now pled no contest to one count of battery, with four other counts dismissed. He's agreed to pay a $1,000 fine, perform 80 hours of community service and attend six hours of anger management counseling. Two of the Kid's crew members entered similar pleas, while three others had all charged dismissed.
