This week in Nashville the weather has topped out at 100 degrees which is fine if it was a dry heat, but not only is it hotter than Justin Moore’s new video it’s sweatier than Dierks Bentley playing the Borderline in London! Which of course you can read a review of and see just how sweaty he got right here on VoC…mmmm lovely, not!!!!. Check out his article in What’s Hot. This week in the new music Randy Owen is back on form, back to sounding like the good old days. When I was a lad and old shep was a pup, or something like that!

We are doing a ground package deal for the CMA awards now as we didn’t want to exclude anyone. Should be great, if the awards weren’t a draw enough we are also doing our own artist night right here in Nashville. Both myself and Pat have promised not to get up and sing, so you are all safe.

Can’t believe we are into August already, weather is great and the station is sounding fab!

Got a few things on the boil with stand alone internet radios. Just waiting on getting a few technical issues sorted out. Wish people would work as fast as we try to, but it’s never the case. I will keep you informed of the progress as soon as I know anything. So keep checking out this blog.

The newsletter: we have had a lot of you sign up to get the newsletter but for some reason not all of you are opening it to give it a read. I can tell, I have eyes everywhere, SO OPEN IT! I don’t slog over a hot computer for nothing. Also add the address to your safe list so it doesn’t go to your spam folder where you keep all the mails about making certain parts of your body bigger/ inheriting millions from relatives you didn’t know you had or, and this is my favourite,…’We have caught you on tape, WATCH NOW’ . If you have no idea what I am talking about then you have a better spam filter than me.

On other matters both the bebo and facebook sites have been set up and are now working great. Getting a lot of people joining up to them, we are all like one big happy country family, and on that note I’m outta here…night John Boy!
