It had to be our new VoC Hitbound Sound, naturally enough. Look for this song to appear on Billy Ray’s next album, “Back to Tennessee”.
One Flew South, “My Kind of Beautiful” – Imagine Little Big Town merging with Crosby, Stills & Nash. Then add Carolina Rain playing in the background. You’d wind up with One Flew South, a new trio consisting of three Nashville-based singer-songwriters. This is the first single from their album, “Last of the Good Guys”.
Jake Owen, “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You” – The Country soul resurgence started by James Otto continues with this new offering from Jake Owen. Smoky, Memphis-style blues with a gritty vocal from Jake makes for a winning combination!

Katie Armiger, “Unseen” – Katie has struck gold with VoC listeners in the past with “17 in Abilene” and “Make Me Believe”. For her new single, she goes with something a little different. The unusual melody pattern in the verses resolves into a plaintive, soaring chorus that shows off Katie’s considerable vocal abilities.
