A Scotsman in the South

Country Music has always been a part of Barry's life. From Sunday evenings listening to the local Country Music radio station to trying to catch the awards shows on T.V, he has always been a fan. He really got into Country when a friend of his let him borrow a Garth Brooks CD. From that moment on, he was seriously hooked!

One thing Barry could never figure out was why Country didn't have a larger market share in the U.K and this was the topic for his 2005 Master's Thesis. Through that he met Pat and worked for the U.K's only terrestrial Country Music station.

Having always loved Nashville during his visits for awards shows and conferences, when the opportunity arose to move out there with VoC he was more than happy to take the chance.

Barry brings a younger perspective to the genre and lets you have a little bit of Rock with your Country in the morning. There is nothing better that a well balanced breakfast!
