Deborah Allen Held By Homeland Security

Deborah Allen was detained by US Homeland Security officers in a freak incident in Memphis, Tennessee. Deborah, hubby Raymond, and a video director were scouting locations for a video to go with Deborah's new Elvis tribute project.

The trio had turned onto a service road under the Memphis Arkansas bridge when their vehicle was surrounded by police cars with blue lights flashing. Armed officers spilled out of the patrol cars and promptly pointed their firearms at a shocked Deborah and colleagues.

The group was told to stay in their car, rest their hands on the dashboard and not to move. After a search and interrogation, the officers explained to the singer that the area was heavily protected by anti-terrorism deputies and to enter the area was a violation of the US Patriot Act.

Deborah and her associates were allowed to leave after the officers were satisfied that it was all an innocent mistake.

Deborah's "Amazing Graceland", the song responsible for the incident.  has been released to I-Tunes.
