Dixie Chicks lead vocalist Natalie Maines was startled when what she thought was a Michael Jackson impersonator turned out to be the real thing.
The reclusive pop star turned up unannounced at a Halloween party hosted by Natalie, along with his three children, an assortment of minders and the widow of actor Gregory Peck, who is apparently now a frequent companion of Jackson's.
Natalie says she found Michael to be very "childlike". Her attempts to converse with him were repeatedly interrupted by other party-goers telling him, "Dude, that's the greatest Michael Jackson costume EVER!"
