Country Home Stretch |
Pat Geary Man on a Mission Pat Geary has made the expansion of Country music in the UK his number one priority since moving to Glasgow in 1988. Leaving behind his career as a prosecutor in the courtrooms of Orange County, California, Pat entered the UK music scene first as a retailer of Country music and then as a radio presenter. In 1999, Pat was asked to create a Country music station for the new DAB radio platform, resulting in the birth of award-winning 3C Radio. After the buy-out of 3C's parent company in 2006, Pat and Barry O'Neill created 3C's successor, Voice of Country, and moved to Nashville where they put the new station on-air in a remarkable 30 days. Pat is currently enjoying the Nashville lifestyle and when not working on VoC, he tends to one of the world's largest collections of after shaves and slaves on the cross-trainer at the local health club. |
