Rumours are sweeping Music City to the effect that Reba McEntire will be returning to the Great White Way in 2009.
The superstar earned rave reviews in 2002 when she took over the starring role in Irving Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun". She also received accolades for her performance in a one night only staging of "South Pacific".
Now it's reported that Reba will be making a triumphant return to Broadway in 2009 in a revival of the musical, "Anything Goes". So far, Reba's spokespeople are neither confirming nor denying she'll be starring in the Cole Porter musical.
